THE GODS' FOLLOWERS

The photos were taken in an annual temple activity in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. People carried the Gods and walked around the district to give blessings to citizens. Believing that firecrackers can bring them good luck, the men who participated in the activity stood right on the firecrackers. They didn’t care about the pain and loudness the firecrackers may cause. They held on to their religion and respect to the traditional culture.
